Born a Hero, Research Foundation founded the Seattle Rare Disease Fair in 2017. In 2019 they partnered with Seattle Children’s Research Institute to host the Fair. Since then the Seattle Rare Disease Fair has come a long way. In two years the Fair grew to represent 60 rare diseases and over 40 organizations. As a result of the Fair, Born a Hero is currently working on the establishment of the WA Rare Disease Advisory Council (WA RDAC).
